  The city of Raleigh is testing out sunflowers as fuel. The city is taking a bunch of sunflowers growing on its property and trying to convert them into biodiesel to use in city vehicles and equipment.

  It’s funny that the Trianlge seems to have opened its arms to urban chickens. It was only 5 years ago that the Durham City Council/Planning Department wasn’t hot on the idea. The N&O had a good weekend story explaining how you can jump on board the chicken coop bandwagon:
