  Although new rules issued by the Federal Trade Commission do not go into effect until Dec. 10, blogger Karen Mann has already issued a statement declaring she often receives music for free. The rules require bloggers who review products to provide full disclosure of any connections with advertisers.

  The Indy has a lengthy article about Lee Sartain, a 28-year-old candidate for Raleigh City Council, that explores his campaign (the good and the bad). It seems to me that the article wouldn’t help his campaign, but several commenters say it has swayed them toward Sartain. Decide for yourself:

  Triangle-based Public Policy Polling recently published poll results that show that polled  “birthers” (those who question President Obama’s citizenship) prefer Sarah Palin as the 2012 candidate for president. But the PPP blog got quite a few e-mails & comments showing Palin supporters riled up:
