  Raleigh mom Andrea was spoiled by a recent visit to Bean Traders by Southpoint mall. The coffee shop had an entire area partitioned off for kids. She’d love to return, but it’s about 20 miles from her home. So she’s seeking help finding one closer to home? Got suggestions, let her know:

  Talk about a ripoff. It usually costs $10 to park at the RBC Center, but the price is going up to $20 for the U2 concert at Carter Finley Stadium. MyNC music blogger Jake Seaton has suggestions of ways you can save and details on the alcohol policy for the show:

• New News and Observer website officially launches today

  The N&O officially launched its new website today. Prior to today, readers could see the new site, but it wasn’t formally in place. The site is definitely a lot cleaner and appears to be easier to use. Here’s a video the paper put together explaining the new site:

  Yesterday was World Carfree Day, but the rain may have kept people from celebrating the holiday, reports the Daily Tar Heel. The student paper reports that the bus system saw about the same amount of passengers.
