I agree with you. It’s too expensive to live there and yet I can get the same salary at Raleigh. There is also more to do and I can enjoy the BBQ, sorry vegans.

#1) It’s “Silicon” Not “Silicone” as Wayne repeatedly says.
#2) The largest “Research Triangle Park” in the country… well, duh! I assume he meant largest “Research Park” but it sounded inane.

Some people might think that the barbecue is good here, but for those vegetarians in Silicon Valley who wonder how that stacks up: the Triangle has the country’s largest vegetarian Thanksgiving, conducted by the Triangle Vegetarian Society at Cafe Parizade in Durham. Last year I believe there were 600 people and I know some people who come here just for that, because the food is just that good. And we also have really great veggie barbecue at the Spotted Dog in Carrboro, so you don’t have to be a carnivore to enjoy the NC barbecue!
