That’s what Allstate concluded after conducting a survey of the nation’s largest 200 cities. The survey looked at the chances of being in a crash in each city and here’s how Cary stacked up:

In Cary, the likelihood of crashing was 5.6 percent below the national average and the average driver goes 10.6 years between crashes. Those numbers were good enough to rank Cary as the 33rd safest city in the U.S. for drivers.
Durham came in 52nd on the list. The chances of crashing in the Bull City is 1.4 percent below the national average, with and drivers going an average of 10.1 years between accidents.
