I just got chills reading about the planned Bull Durham sequel. It’s one of my favorite movies, and it sounds like Kevin Costner would consider starring in it if the it’s well done. Here’s hoping! The Herald-Sun has the details, but you have to register to read articles on their site. Boo.

He hopes that an announcement about cast members can be made in September. The original film starred Kevin Costner as Crash Davis, Susan Sarandon as Annie Savoy, and Tim Robbins as Nuke LaLoosh. In July of 2008, Costner and his band Modern West performed at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. He said at that concert that he was not opposed to doing a sequel as long as the script was top notch.
