I sometimes get teased for this, but I like Jason Mraz. His songs are catchy. So I was excited to see he’s coming to Koka Booth in Cary w/ G Love and Special Sauce. But tix are $35! Are you kidding me? Take processing fees and $10 for parking into accounty and I’m out $50+.

Parking Lots: Lots open at 5pm, General Parking is free of charge. Upgrade to Preferred Parking for $10 per car. Lot is located across from the main gate. General On-Sale: Friday, May, 15th, 2009, 10:00am Ticket Prices: $35 Lawn. Click here to view a seating chart. $45 Reserved and Tables Seats (table seats sold in pairs) Click here to purchase tickets. Kids 2 and under are free on the lawn for this event, all other ages must have a ticket.

I’m a fan, too – call it a guilty pleasure. But $50 in these times? Forget it; I’ll stay home and listen to the CD.

Just to clarify, parking is actually FREE at Booth Amphitheatre, unlike other places in town and if you buy your tickets at the on-site box office there are o service charges.

@Teresa Thanks for the clarification. I see where General Parking is free for this event and preferred parking is $10.
