Local company plans to hire 240 people for iPhone support

WRAL is reporting that Raleigh-based Affiliated Computer Services plans to hire 240 people ASAP to provide tech support for iPhones. The jobs are supposed to pay above minimum wage, so if you know of any Apple fanboys looking for a job, this could be a good match.

admin

“These positions reflect growing demand for iPhones and the fact ACS has demonstrated we have the ability to ramp up this many positions quickly and to meet technical demands,” Gilligan said. “This also speaks well for Raleigh.”

Interested people can apply online at the ACS Web site or in person at 4924 Green Road, Suite 101. Training classes will begin in the near future.

That is awesome, I just wished the jobs were in Atlanta. I used to work for ACS when I lived in Colorado, nice company with good benefits back in 2000. Anyone looking for a job in Raleigh this is a great lead.
