With the unemployment rate still climbing & the economy in it’s current failing state, some have said it’s easier to start your own company than looking for a new job. The North Carolina Startup Blog posted about the conversation on Linkedin from the the LinkingRaleigh networking group. What do you think?

Some of the best comments were from Don Crouse who wrote “Starting my own business, while a challenge has given me freedom and happiness that I have not had in years. We are now in charge of our own ship and we are staying docked in Raleigh.”, and from Jeff SanGeorge who wrote “I keep going back to something a Professor from NC State told me, ‘its much easier to find new business than it is to find a new job’.”

Yeah, I have to agree, but it’s worth mentioning that some folks are not cut out to be entrepreneur- requires a certain mindset. If you’re a go getter and don’t need to be dependent on others to provide for you, START IT UP BABY!
