THREAD-Poll: Will it snow in the Triangle tomorrow (Nov.18th)? Don’t panic

Both the News and Observer & the HowRDUdoin sites are posting about the possibility of the Triangle seeing some snow flurries tomorrow afternoon. If you remember a few years ago the Triangle was shutdown because of snow and too many vehicles on the road. Take the poll below.

I can remember two times here in Charlotte area we had snow (with accumulation) in November. Once was on Veterans’ Day in the mid-to-late 80’s and the other was on or just before Thanksgiving in 2000.

I voted “no” and I figure I have just as good of a chance at being right as the weatherman! :)

I’m a bit late to the game, but I knew there would be no snow.

even if it did, I doubt it would be much to speak of [/end snobby northerner rant]

We are just too smart to believe it. I hope we’re too smart. I remember a few years ago when there was a LIGHT DUSTING and Raleigh was in gridlock for five to eight hours as schools empties and parents rushed to pick up kids and milk. Insane. NO. It will not snow, people! It will not snow.

And you have enough milk.

We’ll see, the weather man said late afternoon for snow. That means we still have time.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!
:)

Well so far 19 of you who voted no are wrong, it’s being reported both in Raleigh & Durham that it has snowed. Although if you blinked you missed it. It’s still snow. :)
