Astonishing but true. And this was not "set up" -- you could ask him about this on any given day and you'd get a whole new variety of junk. Almost always his stash includes a knife of some sort, sticks, and rocks. He really *did* have about six flat wood shims in his pockets just before I shot this -- they were sitting on the kitchen counter, which is, of course, where they belong. (????)
