How comedians played a role in the election with Chris Rock

I know you watched SNL and other late night comedians who made fun of the presidential candidates. Some have said comedians played a big role in helping voters who to choose. I don’t know about all that but Chris Rock was in Raleigh at Shaw U. on Sat. take a listen at his jokes & what the community thinks about comedians & the elections Did comedians help you choose who to vote for? Let me know in the comments

Comedians did not affect how I voted. But Twitter did.

I’m a comedian, and I definitely influenced my vote. Jon Stewart? Chris Rock? SNL? Not so much.

I kind of agree with some of the people I interviewed and I think the comedians exposed some of the candidates weaknesses.

Admittedly, the twitter jokesters featured on Favrd were singing to the choir but in total they have legions of followers. @gruber, @moltz, @lonelysandwich, @seoulbrother, @mathewbaldwin, @nevenmrgan, @antichrista, @nick, @mike_FTW, @hodgeman and many, many others were very vocal about this election. I used (stole) many of their bite-sized retorts, jokes and poignant tweets in conversations with my undecided and right leaning friends, family and acquaintances to great effect.

While popular stand-ups were great in highlighting the low lights, these twitter comedians made it more personal and immediate.
