Early voting in Durham, faster than taking a baby out the car seat?

Good news for those of you in Durham who have not voted already or looking to vote early.  The We Love Durham NC blog just posted about how it took less than five minutes to vote. How long did it take you to early vote?

admin

I voted early, yesterday, at Southwest Elementary. The voting location was easy to find, thanks to the many VOTERS USE 2ND DRIVEWAY and VOTE HERE and VOTE TODAY signs. I parked in front of a VOTER PARKING ONLY sign right beside the entrance. It took me more time to get the girl out of her carseat than it did to vote… no line, and maybe 5 minutes tops.

I was in and out of the church adjacent to NCCU in less than 10 minutes.

It took me about an hour. I sat down with my ballot in hand in front of my computer and looked up the various races, to help me decide who to vote for. I then placed it in an envelope, got it signed by my two witnesses and it’s in the mail today.
