  • What memories do you tie to specific scents?

    I teared up when I caught my first whiff of the salty air and pluff mud while driving over the bridges to Hilton Head Island this summer. The scent made me remember how much I missed living there. We all know scents are tied to memories. This Duke study confirms it with mice.

    I’m writing this from the front seat of Iliana’s SUV as we cruise down I-85 to NC AT&T State University where we’re spending the day at ConvergeSouth, a free conference that will focus on social media, networking, blogging and more. Wayne and I will be here all day.
