    Gas prices are annoyingly high everywhere, but particularly in North Carolina. Looks like we have the highest gas prices in nation (with only Alaska and Hawaii topping us). North Carolina drivers paid an average $3.794/gallon Tuesday, which is 31 cents more than the national average, the N&O reports.
