A Festival-filled weekend: SPARKcon and Greek Fest

It’s festival season in the Triangle. This weekend Wayne went to SPARKcon and Ginny went to Greek Fest to see what each had to offer. Do you have an upcoming event you want 30THREADS to know about? Tell us about it .

Greek Fest was huge. There were hundreds of people there Sunday and the line stretched outside the Expo building. The food was reasonably priced, so it was a good opportunity to try some Greek goodies.

SPARKcon was a lot of fun and free (always a plus). The fashion show in Moore Square on Friday night was top notch and featured many talented, creative designers. The poetry slam also included some gifted writers/performers.
