Kids going back to school on social networks

School has just started and we had a chance to sit down with three bright kids, Toby, Dominique, and Samantha to talk about how they use social networks such as MySpace and Facebook. But not only social networks, we asked them about blogging and how they were introduced to twitter. Also see what the future paintball king, dancer and artist had to say about their parents being friends with them on social networks and their goals in life.

First, I’m very impressed with the intelligence level of each student. I always said the kids of this generation will be far smarter than the children of any previous generations. All the students make the same point, they use social interacting for social interactions. No secret there. But the key statement was each student didn’t mind meeting new friends which is a clear opportunity for businesses.

1st – GREAT JOB WAYNE!
I really liked the layout of this cast and truly impressed with the kids perspective of the social media networks. I’d like to see even more specially those that truly interested in social networks.

Ok, now that I’ve finally viewed it, I can say it’s great! Good to see how the teens are thinking about these tools. Interesting how the one girl gets the tips from her parents. My son told me to get off Myspace and on to Facebook because that’s where the big kids hang out.

@Darren lol, @Nathan, I think I’m going to post the first kid full interview on another blog. He had a lot to say about social networks in school.

Of all the money making methods online, I prefer surveys. You don’t have to depend on starting a website which which ends up being more of a burden. It depends on how much work you put into it you can probably reach a couple hundred pretty fast.
