• Who has the No. 1 blog in the Triangle?

  In all the months that I’ve been reading Triangle blogs, I’ve apparently been missing “the No. 1 blog in the Triangle.” So says Mike Williams, a columnist for the N&O who blogs on the newspaper’s share site. If you don’t agree, thats OK, because he doesn’t “care what you say.” Watch the video.

• It’s not Duke Blue but Duke Green

• Digital billboards coming to a Durham road near you?

  Apparently, Fairway Outdoor Advertising wants permission to replace some of its billboards in Durham with digital ones. Bull City Rising lights up this request, which was reported in the Herald-Sun, but since the newspaper’s Web site requires registration, we bring you the blog version.

  A Wake County raccoon has rabies, and a stray cat in the area might also. So this might be a good time to make sure your pets are up to date on their vaccinations.
