@30THREADS That was my point. How else would you access RSS feeds? Is there a non-electronic RSS reader? Or a non-internet connected reader?

  • 6 hours ago - 30THREADS - web
@netposer Not if you can't even access your desktop (and thus your reader) and have to use someone else's computer until the issue is fixed

@30THREADS RSS feed by nature are digital so reading them on a desktop or a mobile device will have the same result if there's a problem

@beebo_wallace Yeah, I know, but it only sucks when you have a problem. @RobertFischer Keep me (Ginny) posted on a final recommendation

Time to get our creativity on

A well-designed postcard for SparkCon caught my eye in Morning Times, so I had to log onto their site. Turns out it’s a September conference for creative people in the Triangle. The topics range from graffiti and fashion to yoga and storytelling. Guess where I hope to be Sept. 19-21.

September 2008 will be our third annual SPARKcon. We’re still just a loose association of passionate individuals, and still grass roots. Our money comes from our pockets and the pockets of others excited to support local creativity. The ideas and showcases come from inspired people who have the ingenuity to say “What if…?” and the motivation to then make it happen.

If you want to get “A Taste of SPARKcon,” come to the gallery show tonight (First Friday) at Designbox. There will be all sorts of fun information, pictures of past SPARKcons, LIVE graffiti demos in the back parking lot, last year’s fashionSPARK movie will be shown, and lots of ways you can be involved this year.
Designbox is at 323 W. Martin St in downtown Raleigh, and the gallery is open tonight from 7pm to 10pm.

This is such a great event. The website is so well done. We did the sidewalk art festival last year at Moore Square and can’t wait to do it again.
