The North Carolina State Fair is getting its toes wet with social media for the 2008 State Fair marketing and promotion. It will be interesting to see how the blogand cover the fair as it is actually happening, I think Twitter, Plurk and Brightkite could be really helpful to aggregate coverage and provide updates.

The fair, that’s a chance to do something different, look for reviews, blog posts, tweets, etc on specific toppics. Get people jump started.
